ARTWORK STATEMENT : Whilst wildfires are a natural occurrence within some ecosystems, fire seasons are becoming greater and more extreme. Conditions caused by climate change and land management are creating more frequent and higher intensity wildfires. The wildfires of Canada 2023, burnt 5% of the country’s entire forest area.
