A series of paintings and drawings that are a reflection of Emma’s personal journey over the last twelve months. JOURNEYS – travels through the landscape explores the process and healing power of being amongst the natural landscape, finding a solitude that has come from daily meditation and regular walks in our natural world – each piece taking the viewer on their own journey of self-reflection and connection with the landscape. Oil paintings and graphite drawings that are at once atmospheric and ethereal depictions bringing a sense of calm, at other times expressing the turmoil of emotion from within – all rich in colour, expressing a sense of depth and light.

By stripping back the landscape of its representational line and form, Emma Price creates an atmospheric and ethereal ambiance – evoking a sense of meditative contemplation and reflection of our place in the landscape, showing that we each have our own unique connection that comes from being within nature.
