drawings

I’ve always loved drawing, and whilst I don’t draw as much as I used to, it is still an integral part of my practice.

To create a strong sense of high contrast and drama – I work predominantly in graphite, with charcoal and pan-pastel to achieve an intense depth of black tone – not too dissimilar to black and white photography, which I adore, and tend to work primarily from my own images.
