Vitality
Inspired by the wonderful ’ Secret Garden’ at Blenheim Palace – Vitality is another positive small piece in my on-going Secret Garden series. The garden was planted by the then Duke of Marlborough in the 1950s, when the palace first opened to the public ~ to serve as a place to escape and find peace from the masses.
A garden for all seasons, the Secret Garden at Blenheim is abundant with various genus of japanese acer trees which often symbolise prosperity and gratitude – and so this series is about the meditative need for the sub-conscious mind to re-energise through nature. Being absorbed and immersed within nature brings an inner reflection and healing from the day-to-day ~ a sense of postivity and gratitude.
