Part of my on-going Secret Garden series ~ initially inspired by the Secret Garden at Blenheim Palace. Planted by the then Duke of Marlborough in the 1950s, when the palace first opened to the public ~ the Secret Garden was to serve as a place to escape and find peace from the masses. A garden for all seasons, this series is about the meditative need for the sub-conscious mind to re-energise through nature. Being absorbed and immersed within nature brings an inner reflection and healing from the day-to-day ~ a sense of quiet, tranquility and gratitude.
