Having been selected as a Finalist in the @dswfwildlifeart Wildlife Artist of the Year 2025 is something very dear to me, and a way to extend the narrative about conservation, and the impact of climate change in our world. The past few years my work for DSWF has depicted wildfires.
Wildfires are a natural occurrence within some ecosystems, but fire seasons are becoming greater and more extreme, in both intensity and destruction. I wanted to portray how conditions caused by climate change and land management are placing ecosystems and biodiversity under huge pressure for survival.
As a finalist in this year’s DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year Exhibition, held at the Mall Galleries, London in September – a donation of 40% of the sale price will be made to the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, a confirmation of donation will be sent to you once payment has cleared.
