Amongst the Notes
An ethereal piece, ‘Amongst the Notes’ is inspired by the concept of ‘the space between’. I listen to music as I paint, and it is very much a constant in my life and I played the piano in my teens. This piece and ‘Between the Notes’ is reflective of the energy music has within us – the energy that you can feel within yourself as you become absorbed in the music. The darker tones acting likes waves of energy moving and humming in rhythm with the time.
